Review by hotel critic
During my recent business trip to La Spezia, I had the pleasure of staying at Vicolocorto Affittacamere, and I must say it exceeded my expectations. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the train station and a stone's throw from charming eateries and local shops, making it convenient for my family and me. The warm hospitality started even before we arrived, as Alessandro kept us informed through text about everything we needed to know. The rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean, and equipped with all the comforts one could ask for, including a lovely rainfall shower and a kettle for that morning coffee boost—just what I needed after a late night out enjoying the local cuisine! A little welcome touch was the complimentary Prosecco, which was a delightful surprise, especially after a long travel day. Breakfast vouchers got us delicious pastries and coffee at a nearby café, setting us up nicely for our escapades into Cinque Terre. With solid security and a peaceful atmosphere, I felt right at home—definitely a place I’d recommend to fellow travelers seeking a cozy and welcoming base in La Spezia.
